Today B and I checked out the veggie garden and pulled a few carrots and cut some broccoli. The largest carrot measured about 6" and a good 2" across. It was very fat and they all tasted so good!
The broccoli florets are small, but they have the best smell and flavor!
And our experiment? Attempting to fry an egg on the sidewalk. Okay, so total waste of time and an egg. But, it did start to solidify after a few minutes. Tony was right though, we needed to crack the egg directly on the cement or brick instead of a pan. Almost 100 degrees outside and our pool patio is too hot to walk on with bare feet.
