Today I was craving something peach. May e it is because I bought a few pounds of sweet smelling peaches at the farmers market last night?!
I can never find my ideal cobbler. I love fresh fruit flavor, none of that over powering nutmeg or cinnamon flavor, and a fantastic cobbler/cake consistency. Upon a quick Internet search I found a peach cobbler recipe from the Salt Lick restaurant in Austin, Texas. I've been there and can say their food is fantastic and I couldn't wait to give it a try.
Upon eating two huge pieces for dessert, I'd call this my favorite cobbler recipe to date! You must give it a try. Now!
